This is a NO-B contract. This kind of contract is known as National Professional Officers. It is normally only for nationals. It’s a staff contract. It usually requires 2 years of experience, depending on education.

The salary for this job should be more than 1,191 USD.

The salary of a NO-B depends on the duty station. The minimum salary there is 113,918 BTN (~1,191 USD) Please note that depending on the location, a higher post adjustment might still result in a lower purchasing power.

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME
Serve as the programme focal point for communicable diseases, immunization and AMR program with responsibility for the overall planning, development , implementation and assessment of a comprehensive and effective programme. To collaborate with Royal Centre for Disease Control (RCDC) and the MoH in strengthening laboratory aspects of communicable diseases, immunization, and AMR programs. To support the MOH in the identification of priority of policy interventions for communicable diseases, immunization and AMR program and assist in aligning regional strategic plans with the country plans and priorities.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Under the overall guidance of WHO Representative and direct supervision of NPO Administration, Planning and Programme Management, the incumbent will perform the following duties:
1. Planning of interventions, in particular as they relate to update the strategy through development, implementation and monitoring of programme at national level.
2. Building of national capacity in Communicable Disease Control (CDC), immunization, Neglected Tropical diseases, and AMR.
3. Coordinate activities on prevention and control of communicable diseases particularly affecting the target group, children, adolescents, and women.
4. Coordinate with institutions/agencies in the study on the impact and cost-effectiveness of the CDC, to ensure timely implementation of interventions, dissemination, and analysis of intermediate study results, and the use of data for strengthened national implementation.
5. Evaluation CDC activities including periodic program reviews and surveys to assess the quality of case management at health facilities.
6. Provide technical support in developing Global Fund proposal and in implementation of the Global Fund grant to HIV, TB and Malaria.
7. Planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of CDC, Immunization, Neglected Tropical Diseases and AMR activities. This will include support for situation analysis, measurement of protective and risk factors, use of data for programme planning, and development of locally adapted tools and instruments.
8. Coordination with partners, NGO, provision of periodic- and updates on progress in programme implementation, and support to the government in mobilization of resources for CDC, immunization and AMR.
9. Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the supervisors.

REMUNERATION
Remuneration comprises an annual base salary starting at BTN 1,019,639 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable) and 30 days of annual leave.
